I made this on my husband's bday. There were too many things to do on that day and 10-12 people were coming home for a surprise bday party. Health freak that I was, did not just want to feed all of them a store bought ready made sweet, so quickly made these healthy choco almond date balls in about 5 mins. And once made, they were all gulped within 1-2 mins :-P
Ingredients:
Cacao Powder - 2-3 tsp (depends on whether u like milk or dark chocolate taste)
1 cup of almonds
Fresh soft dates - 7-8
Coconut oil - 2-3 tsp (use any oil you like)
Maple Syrup / Honey if you are okie being non-vegan - 2 tsp.
Just churn all of them in a mixer till they make a fine think paste. Roll them into small balls or shapes u like. Decorate it with a fruit :-)
Btw, I added some biscuit crumbs to decorate and give some crunch :-)
